Chamber and install new barrel on custom or trued action:  $275.00                                                                                        All barrels are chambered using a Southbend Heavy 10 lathe with a spider.  This allows me to use precision ground bushings and dial indicate the chambering part of the bore perfectly true.  Giving you a perfect true chamber and throat to the bore. 

All reamers are removable piloted finish reamers with precision ground bushings for each caliber to insure perfect alignment and reduce the chance of chatter.

Chambering is done using the Gordy Gritter's range rod method using precision ground bushing sets for each caliber.  Using a custom built spider attached to the lathe, it allows the chambering end of the barrel to be dialed in to .0000 to .0001 true.  This allows a perfectly straight chamber and throat.  Exceptionally time consuming with an average of 8 - 10 hours invested in each chambering.  But as Writer Robert Rinker stated in his July issue of The Varmint Hunter's magazine article titled Extreme Long Range - "speaking of the rifle, it must be as close to perfect as humanly possible".  

True Remington action:  $250.00                                         Dialed in true to within .0001 and single point cut on a lathe.  I true the receiver face and action lugs and the last operation, true the action threads.  We then true the bolt which includes the bolt lugs,  nose and face.  

True Remington action with new Pacific Tool and Gauge bolt:  $499.00
Rebore bolt raceway to .705 diameter.  Then dial the action in true to within .0001 and single point cut on a lathe the receiver face, action lugs and  then the last operation, true the action threads.  The new bolt is custom ordered and precision ground to only allow .001 to .0015 bolt clearance per side depending on the actions application.   New handle is welded on and your choice of extractors.  Fluting and new high speed firing pin assembly available. 

Complete Pacific Tool and Gauge replacement bolt with tactical knob and High speed firing pin Assembly: $350 These are ground from .702 to .7035 depending on application and takes the place of sleeving the factory bolt after the bolt bore raceway has been trued and opened to .705.  Removes unwanted bolt play and increases consistant shot to shot accuracy. (flutes available for additional $35.00)

Remington 700 Fluted Aluminum High Speed firing pin and spring installed: $64.00                                                 Increases lock time by up to 38%.  Great for getting the round out of the barrel faster with less chance of introducing negative shooter influence.

True Savage action: This includes truing receiver face and lapping lugs.  $125.00  * I recommend replacing the recoil lug - factory lugs are stamped.
